Camp Meriwether

Grit here. Lasts Forever.

Since 1926, Camp Meriwether has been the ultimate frontier on the edge of the Pacific. Nestled between the massive cliffs of Cape Lookout and two miles of private oceanfront, this is where old-growth forest meets the raw power of the Oregon coast. It is a landscape designed to be earned, offering a rare look at the world from the tide pools to the treeline.

This is where the paved world ends and the grit of the trail begins. From the freshwater currents of Lake Chamberlain to the black-powder smoke of Fort Clatsop, every activity is a challenge to be met.

Here, Scouts don’t just learn skills; they build the kind of character that doesn’t wash away with the tide. This is a place for the bold, the curious, and those ready to test their limits against the elements. You’ll leave with more than just stories—you’ll leave with the strength of true grit.
