Scouts Are Hilarious – Right Now Everyone Needs a Little Comedic Relief!

The Service of Bringing Joy

As our local volunteers come to together virtually to continue guiding our youth to become future leaders, we wanted to invite you to join us in #GivingTuesdayNow. Not unlike the traditional annual GivingTuesday in December, #GivingTuesdayNow has been developed as an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in unity – to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and heal during this challenging time. Join us today to drive a spike in giving and help shape future resilient leaders and build stronger communities in NW Oregon and SW Washington.

Local Scouts continue to be active in the program while staying safe and Scouting from home! Check out the Machuca family offering a little comedic relief in their hilarious campfire skit below:

Did You Know?

In 2019, 8,385 adult volunteers in the Cascade Pacific Council helped guide Scout’s through character building activities. Volunteerism is a pillar of the scouting program and their service of time helps provide youth lead programming and character development within a safe environment.

How You Can Help: Give & Spread the Word

You can help us by giving today and sharing our donate page on your social media or via email to encourage others to join your philanthropic endeavors.

While CPC is fortunate to be able to participate in the newly announced #GivingTuesdayNow initiative, this does not replace our community or Camp4All fundraising initiatives. If you have already made a pledge to Scouting, please continue to fulfill that commitment while you consider a #GivingTuesdayNow special gift. Thank you for considering a donation as we work together today, to prepare our next generation of leaders
