Scouts will Learn and practice the skills they need to get out in the wild surrounded by our staff of skilled older Scouts and your favorite adults. Webelos Camp is where your Scout fills their toolbox with the right stuff for years of Scouting adventures.
What makes Webelos AOL Camp different?
- Swimming, boating, and a pellet gun range, designed exclusively with Webelos (and safety!) in mind.
- Ride the trails on horseback through our ponderosa pine forest to see the world from a whole new vantage point.
- Or ride the trails on two wheels: Baldwin’s mountain bikes are perfect for the trails and closed dirt roads in the woods nearby.
- Learn outdoor cooking guided by staff and parents with our top notch gear as you prepare some of your own meals.
- Check out gear and learn how to choose and use it to stay comfortable in your outdoor home: tents, backpacks, stoves, sleeping bags…and so much more!
- Your den will learn knots, cooking, first aid, fire-making, stove use, and how to set up tents (and how to get those pesky things back in their tiny bags!)
- Explore nearby sites…an old homestead, a fire watch tower, and scenic overlooks of Eastern Oregon’s high desert.
- Campout games that don’t even plug into anything….whoa, dude.
- Staying safe while having fun.
- And if you haven’t seen the stars at B.A.S.E. Camp Baldwin, you haven’t seen stars…brilliant!

Your Webelos will love to learn Jamboree-style cooking and feasting on their own creations! Scouts will cook most of their meals in the campsite, which supports the camps’ long-standing focus on the Patrol Method. Using the Patrol Method, Scouts develop teamwork and leadership skills. Camp staff deliver raw food ingredients twice a day to ensure fresh, quality food for our Scouts.
