The Fire of Scouting

As the year draws to a close and the days grow colder and darker, we’re reminded of the comfort of a good campfire. The steady glow that offers light in the darkness and the warmth that draws people together. For the over eight thousand young people served by the Cascade Pacific Council this year, Scouting is that fire. It’s where they find their place, discover what they’re capable of, and learn what it means to lead. But the fire keeps burning only when someone tends to it properly.

Every fire needs fuel. Our fuel is the annual support of donors like you who understand that character growth doesn’t happen by chance.

Your support fuels programs that shape lives. It ensures cost is never a barrier between a young person and life-changing experiences. It keeps our facilities maintained and supports and trains volunteers who show up week after week. It upholds a culture that allows kids to take risks and try new things in an environment where they are safe.  THANK YOU!
